Deli Heinz Burg – Healthy and delicious homemade burger

원래 햄버거라고 하면 패스트푸드, 불량식품으로 인식이 되어 있었는데 요새는 건강을 생각한 수제버거가 많이 있더라구요. 가로수길에서 맛있다고 소문난 수제버거 전문점을 다녀왔습니다. 처음 수제버거에 대해 들었을 때는, 어렸을 때 어머니께서 집에서 만든 돈까스를 넣은 햄버거를 만들어 주셨는데, 그 생각이 나더라구요. 어머니께서 만들어주신 버거도 맛있었지만, 유명한 곳에서는 수제버거를 어떻게 만드는지 궁금해서 찾아갔어요.

Hamburger achieved a wide recognition as a fast&unsanitary food. But these days, there are lots of restaurants making homemade burgers which are healthier and delicious. We visited a homemade burger restaurant which is famous in Garosu-gil. When I first heard about homemade burger, I thought about a burger which my mother made for me when I was young. She made homemade burgers by putting pork cutlet patties between hamburger buns. The homemade burger made by my mother was delicious, but the curiosity about the restaurant which makes delicious homemade burger made me visit Deli Heinz Burg.

나무 재질의 실내와, 독특한 조명이 눈길을 끄는 델리하인츠 버그. 물과 티슈, 후추, 소금 등은 셀프 서비스인듯 하네요~ 테이블이 작아서 그런지 테이블마다 비치돼 있지는 않더라구요.

Wooden finished interior and unique lighting were impressive. Water, napkin, salt and water are for self service. Maybe it is because the tables are small.

콜라는 비싸서 주문하지 않았어요. 리필이 된다지만 4,300원이라는 가격이 부담스럽더라구요… 수제버거는 9,900원~만원대 초반, 사이즈업하려면 천원 추가, 파니니는 만원대 초반, 스테이크는 만원대 중반이었어요. 전반적으로 다 만원대의 메뉴예요. 주문은 테이블에서 하고 번호가 쓰여진 종이를 받으면 전광판에 그 번호가 뜨는대로 가서 받아오는 시스템이예요.

We didn’t ordered coke because they were too expensive. Though we can have a refill, the price of 4,300won was too expensive. Homemade burgers are from 9,900won, and 1,000won more for a size up. And the panini was from 10,000won to 15,000won, steak was more than 15,000won. Most of the menus are less than 20,000won. You order from your table and pick up your menu when your number on your receipt shows up on the electronic board.

소스는 다섯가지쯤 되는 것에서 고르게 하는데 추천해주신대로 스위트칠리를 골랐어요. 빵의 한쪽에는 머스타드 소스를 발라서 오픈된채로 서빙하더라구요. 그냥 먹어도 좋고 소스를 찍어먹어도 맛있어요. 매콤한 맛이 강하지는 않은데 먹고나면 입술이 살짝 따꼼따꼼하고 은근히 매운 뒷맛이 남는 맛이예요. 스위트칠리가 매운게 아니라 패티 자체와 소스가 매운 것 같아요. 패티는 퍽퍽하지 않고 살짝 촉촉하니 맛있었습니다.

There were about 5 kinds of sauce, so I chose sweet chili as the waiter recommended. A side of the bun is served open with mustard sauce. It’s delicious to eat both with and without sauce. The spicy flavor is not that strong, but it made my lips sting and has spicy aftertaste. The spicy thing was not the sweet chili sauce, but the patty itself and the sauce in the burger. The patty is moist to be delicious.

 

  • Casanova (BLT Classic) – size up – 수제버거패티, 베이컨, 양상추, 토마토, 양파, 피클, 체다치즈(You and this burger are a love affair bound to happen. With juicy handmade patty, Cheddarella, and too many other goodies to mention, you’ll be romancing this burger long after it’s gone.)

카사노바 버거는 사이즈업해서 주문했어요. 딱 봤을 때는 일반이랑 크기가 비슷해보이는데 자세히보니 패티가 좀 더 컸어요. 소스는 추천해주신대로 Bourbon BBQ Sauce. 패티가 두툼한 오리지날 버거였어요. 이건 담백한 맛이 느껴진다는~ 사실 먹으면서 느낀 것은 패티보다 빵이 더 맛있다는 것! 빵만 따로 먹어도 맛있을 정도로 먹으면 먹을수록 고소한 맛이 나더라구요. 호밀빵이라 고소한가봐요.

We ordered a size-up Casanova. The size is similar to the normal, but the patty is bigger. We chose Bourbon BBQ sauce as the waiter recommended. The taste is clean. Actually the bun was more delicious than the patty. Even eating the bun separately was tasty by how much you chew it. Maybe it’s because it is whole wheat bread.

여기는 피클을 직접 담가서 주시는 것 같아요. 직접 담근 피클을 판매도 하시는듯 해요. 색깔도 예쁘고 맛도 좋았어요.

I guess they make the pickles themselves, and they also sell it. The color and taste were both great.
