Uの廚房 – Owner shef Yoo’s kitchen

유명한 쉐프가 있는 일식집이 있다고 해서 다녀왔어요. 유희영이라는 쉐프인데, 책도 내고 일식 업계에서는 유명하다고 하네요.

There’s a famous Japanese restaurant with a famous chef in garosu-gil. The name of the chef is Yoo Hee Young, and he also published a cooking book.

나무 재질로 된 외관에 빨간 간판에 유노추보라고 일본어로 쓰여있어요.

The restaurant has wooden finished interior with a red sign written as Uの廚房.


가게 내부는 깔끔하고, 유희영 오너셰프의 레시피북이 전시돼 있어요. 직원 분들도 친절하셔서 좋았답니다.

The interior is neat, and the recipe book of the chef is displayed. The waitresses were also kind.


귀여운 사기그릇의 기본 세팅.

위 사진은 방울토마토를 발사믹 오일에 담근듯한 새콤한 에피타이저. 아래는 독특한 색깔의 피클.

Appetizer was the cherry tomato with balsamic oil, and the pickle had special color.

  • 야끼우동 – 여러가지 해산물과 쇠고기를 함께 볶아 만든 간장소스의 볶음 우동 (쇠고기 : 호주산 ‘와규’) (Yaki udon – Soy sauce fried noodle with various sea food and beef. (Beef : Australian ‘Wagyu’))


호주산 와규가 들어있다는 야끼우동이예요. 사실 생각보다 와규가 적게 들어있어 맛있는지, 특별한지는 잘 모르겠더라구요(숟가락 위에 있는 것이 와규의 전부는 아니지만요). 해산물은 해감이 잘 되어 있고 우동면은 쫄깃해요. 생각보다 안에 해산물이 많이 들어있어 놀랐어요. 가쓰오부시 덕분에 더 고소하답니다.

Yaki Udon with Australian Wagyu. Actually, the amount of the wagyu was too small to feel it special(Though the wagyu on the spoon in the picture is not the whole amount). The seafood is clean and the noodle is chewy. There were more seafood inside than I thought. It is more aromatic due to the dried bonito.


같이 준 국물이예요. 곁들여 준 국물에 게가 들어가 있는 것은 처음 본 것 같아요. 국물이 따끈하고 맛이 시원해서 좋았어요.

This is the soup served with the udon. It was the first time to see crab in the soup served for free service. The soup was warm and had good taste.

  • 커리소스 소프트셸크랩 동 – 천연커리를 이용해 하나씩 볶아 만든 소프트 셸크랩 덮밥 (Bowl of rice with curry sauce and soft shell crab – rice with soft shell crab fried one by one with organic curry.)


커리와 튀김이 잘 어울렸어요. 굉장히 기대를 많이 하고 간 집이라, 사실 엄청난 특별함은 느끼지 못했어요. 하지만 깔끔한 분위기에서 깔끔한 맛의 일식을 드시고 싶다면 추천드리고 싶어요. 음식은 좋은 재료를 써서 만든 듯하고, 정성이 보기 좋았어요.

The fries and the curry had good harmony. Compared to the great expectation I had, the restaurant was not that special. But if you want to have neat Japanese food in a neat restaurant, it will be great. They seem to use good ingredients and cares much about the quality.
